Come and create something beautiful
As a reasonably new art and craft workshop studio in Harvington (between Bromsgrove and Kidderminster), new workshops will run at various levels using a range of different mediums. Main objectives are for people to have a fun, relaxing time in a lovely rural setting, leave with artwork they’re really pleased with and of course enjoy hot drinks and homemade cakes or cookies.
Workshops
Resin Iris Workshops
Learn techniques to design and create beautiful 3D Iris’s out of resin. Workshops last approximately 2 1⁄2 hours and cost £35 per person. Further dates will follow shortly together with sessions for making roses and daffodils. Maximum class size – 8
Glass Fusion Workshop
Learn a few glass fusion techniques over a couple of hours whilst producing at least 2 pieces of artwork which will be fused after the class. One piece will then be turned into a tea light and another will be framed. Artwork will be ready for collection 7 to 10 days after the workshop. Maximum class size – 8. Workshop price - £45
Reactive Mixed Media
Reactive Mixed Media offers an incredible opportunity to create visually stunning pieces. During the 2 ½ hour workshop, you will be introduced to special paints designed to produce stunning effects. You will then design and make your own key-fob, and seascape picture which will be framed for you after the class. Work will be ready for collection about a week after the workshop or we can arrange to post it (postage costs extra). Maximum class size 10, cost £55
Reactive Mixed Media and Glass Fusion Day
Between about 10am and 4.30pm indulge yourself by creating both of the mixed media and glass
fusion items above (at least 4 pieces). In the middle of the two sessions enjoy afternoon tea (a range
of sandwiches, cakes, scones with jam and clotted cream and constant tea and coffee tops ups).
Subject to paint being reasonably dry you may be able to take some pieces away with you. The rest
will be ready for collection about a week after the workshop or we can arrange to post it (postage
extra). Maximum class size 8, cost £85
Craft Open Studio
Open studio sessions of about 2 hours are being worked on at the moment where people can just come along and use the studio and equipment on a fortnightly basis to try things out without the need to spend a lot of money on materials and equipment. More details and dates will follow shortly.
Holly & Mistletoe Workshops
Just in time for Christmas! Holly & Mistletoe Resin workshops, Grab your mates and learn techniques to make beautiful mistletoe and holly using liquid resin. Each person will always leave with at least 3 pieces of artwork. The workshop lasts approximately 2 to 2.5 hours and includes homemade cakes and bottomless hot drinks or a cheeky loaded hot chocolate £30 Wednesday 1st Nov 10-12.30 More dates to follow Max 10 people
Christmas Holly & Mistletoe Resin Wreath Workshops
Learn techniques to make beautiful mistletoe and holly using liquid resin and then create either a wreath or table decoration to take away. The workshop lasts approximately 4 to 4.5 hours and includes homemade soup, sandwiches, cakes and bottomless hot drinks half way through. That’s 4 hours of entertainment, food and a stunning wow factor decoration just in time for Christmas!! £45. Guest Artist – Kristyna from Kikibohospirit (expert in chrystals and jewellery making). Geode cracking and jewellery making workshop
Immerse yourself in a 2 ½ hour hands-on experience of discovery and creativity as you break open your personal geode and reveal the stunning quartz crystals hidden within. Through guided wire-wrapping techniques, transform these natural wonders into bespoke jewellery, creating wearable art infused with the energy of your unique geode. £45.
